"At Greenberg Dauber Epstein & Tucker, we never forget that we are in the business of providing legal services. Our commitment to providing unsurpassed service is paramount. This commitment includes such simple things as the prompt return of our clients' telephone calls, as well as constant communication with our clients throughout every step of the litigation process. Critical to client satisfaction is never taking the client for granted, but instead, treating the client as an integral member of the litigation team. This philosophical approach allows for the continued exchange of ideas and strategic options with our clients, always focusing on a cost-effective approach to litigation and the achievement of a result consistent with that approach.”

Russell Burnside is a partner in the Firm's Litigation Department. As a former Certified Public Accountant who audited a wide range of companies for five years with Touche Ross & Co. before attending law school, Mr. Burnside developed a keen understanding of business and financial statements. He utilizes this background in concentrating his practice in various types of commercial litigation and business disputes. The Superior Court of New Jersey has taken advantage of Mr. Burnside's financial and legal experience by appointing him to administer and monitor estates. He has also been retained as an expert in the defense of accounting malpractice claims. Several of the litigation matters which Mr. Burnside has handled have resulted in reported state and federal decisions.

Mr. Burnside is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia and various Federal Courts. He is a graduate of Rutgers Law School where he was Managing Notes & Comments Editor for the Rutgers Computer & Technology Law Journal. His published article—The Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986: The Challenge of Applying Ambiguous Statutory Language to Intricate Telecommunication Technologies—garnered him the Margaret Devine Fox Memorial Award. Mr. Burnside is an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Essex County College, serves on the Board of Governors of Fairleigh Dickinson University, was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the District VA Ethics Committee and the Fee Arbitration Committee, served as a long-time trustee of the Donald S. Kilgour Endowment Fund and coaches softball and baseball.
