Michael H. Freeman is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department. He has been affiliated with the Firm since 1997, during which time he has engaged in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters pending in state and federal courts. Mr. Freeman concentrates his practice on the representation of a variety of business enterprises (including large and mid-size corporations, hospitals and schools) in complex litigation involving contract disputes, commercial torts and real estate controversies. He has represented public entities in matters involving civil rights and constitutional deprivations and numerous businesses with regard to employment discrimination, wrongful discharge and other employment-related litigation.
Mr. Freeman has also successfully pursued and defended appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and to the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey and the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Mr. Freeman is a magna cum laude graduate of George Washington University Law School, where he served on the George Washington Law Review. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, and the Courts of the State of New Jersey. Mr. Freeman formerly served on the New Jersey Supreme Court District Ethics Committee and was a Barrister in the Employment Law American Inn of Court.
